How to delete your WGTakt account
Open the WGTakt mobile app, go to Profile, open Privacy, and choose Delete account.
If you cannot access the app during the preview, use the contact channel shared in your TestFlight or Google Play testing invite and include the email address used for your WGTakt account.
If you own a household with other active members, transfer ownership or remove the other active members first. This prevents a shared household from losing its owner unexpectedly.
What is deleted or anonymized
Account deletion anonymizes your WGTakt user profile, disables push devices, cancels pending notifications, removes active household memberships, and invalidates existing app tokens.
If your account is the only active member of a household, WGTakt deletes that household and its household-owned rows.
Public community content that can be removed without breaking shared records, such as active profile visibility, active listings, and active access, is removed or anonymized where applicable.
What may be retained
In multi-member households, task, expense, settlement, message, and activity records may be retained in anonymized form so remaining household members keep coherent shared household history.
Some records may be retained where needed for security, auditability, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or backup restoration.
Retained records are limited to what is needed for those purposes and are no longer tied to an active WGTakt account.
Timing and support
In-app deletion starts immediately after confirmation. Requests outside the app are reviewed before deletion so the account can be verified.
For deletion questions, account access issues, or ownership-transfer help, use the support contact shared with your test invite.
